Brayan's Gold is here!

Yesterday I was treated to a long awaited package from Subterranean Press. Inside were my comp copies of Brayan's Gold, my first major illustration gig for international bestselling author and all around good guy, Peter V. Brett. I've worked with Peat since 2007, before his debut novel The Warded Man was published, but this was a very special milestone for me. To land a cover and interiors for a best-selling author in one fell swoop was preeetty amazing. And at last, I can hold the fruits of my labor in my hands!

The book comes in two versions, the limited edition leatherbound signed version (gold title) and the trade edition (blue title). Inside are 9 additional black and white illustrations which I haven't published online.

Not to knock Peat's writing prowess, but this is definitely the best page:

Brayan's Gold
is a supplement story to Brett's Demon Cycle novels, published by Del Rey Fantasy. Both installments (The Warded Man and The Desert Spear) in the Cycle are best-sellers and well worth your time if you're a fantasy fan. Go read them!
